As you said that i must opt for HRM.On the subject list in UGC official site their are two related subjects: 1) code no-17- Management(bus admin mgmt,marketing,marketing mgmt,industrial relations and personnel mgmt) 2) code no-55-Labour welfare and industrial relations.,Labous and social welfare and Human Resource Mgmt My final year optional subject was- Labour welfare and industrial relations.but we also studied Marketing Mgmt n financial Mgmt in these years. So should i prepare for Labour welfare and industrial relations or management Pls ans me |

This examination is Conducted by UGC, Twice in a year to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship. To appear in this examination you have to complete your Post graduate degree course form a recognised University with Minimum 55% Marks, Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to appear for NET Examination. You have to choose the Subjects in NET on the Basis of Post Graduation. If you have Completed your MBA in HR, then you are Only Opt Human Resource Management Subject in NET Examination, And If you have Study Finance subject as Minor in your MBA Course, then you can Opt Commerce Subject in NET Examination, But I have suggest you please choose Human resource Subjects in NET. The Syllabus and Previous year Human Resource Management Subject are availiable in NET Examination, So please check UGC Website and Download the syllabus from there and Keep Practice, Only then you will be able to cracked the NET Examination. This examination is Conducted by UGC, in June and December Every Year. For this year June NET Examination was already Completed and The December NET Examination will be Held on 24/Dec/2011. If you have missed both these examination, then please wait for Next year examination Notification, The examination Fees of NET was Rs 450 and you have to pay the Fees through challan form In SBI Bank and then you are eligible to fill Online application Form of NET Examination. Re: Can M.B.A HR opt for commerce subject in Net Exams? The candidates appearing for the NET have to select the subject based on what they specialised during MBA. Since you have specialised in HR, you cannot select commerce as the subject. You need to select the subject from those mentioned under the management subjects. You can visit the UGC site to know the details. You refer the past papers for preparing for this exam. |
