Re: Which books to prepare for NDA Exam? Hi NDA stands for the National Defense Academy. This is basically an All India entrance examination which is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year in the months of April and August. This is done to select candidates for the various posts in the India Army, Navy and Air Force. The Basic Eligibility Criteria's for the NDA examination are :- 1. You should an unmarried Indian Citizen. 2. You must have passed class 12th from a recognized state board or any good school in India. 3. For the Navy and Air Force, you must have studied Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects. 4. Your age should be within 16.5 to 19 years for this. 5. You should be fit on medical grounds. Thus anybody who fulfills these eligibility criteria's are fit to sit for the NDA examination.
