There are lot of govt. jobs availabe for CSE such as :- 1) You can try for GATE and if you got high score then you can make a entry into ISRO,DRDO etc. 2) New India Assurance Company Limited for the post of Post Administrative Officer (Scale I). 3) Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited for the Post of Associate Server Maintainer. 4) Cabinet Secretarial Govt Of India Jobs for the Post of Deputy Field Officer. 5) Also you can try for Railway, Bank jobs etc. |

Re: Government jobs for the students who pursued b.tech from IT branch? Hai friend! You better join Defence such as army, navy, air force in technical field. You can write BSNL JTO or bank PO. Civil services such as IAS or IPS. Railways as a signal engineer. Teaching profession. Good luck! |

Re: Government jobs for the students who pursued b.tech from IT branch? dear friend, as per my knowledge there r so many govt. jobs avalable for ur branch.u can go many sides in govt. sector bt for that u have to give various competitive exam . for ur govt. exams r 1.IES 2.SSC 3.CDS 4.UES 5.EKT 6.RAILWAY 7.BANK 8.NAVY 9.P.O 10.AIRFORCE etc. u just select any of the above exam.then u will get jobs in govt. sector. good luck. |

Dear friend; Government jobs for the students who pursued b.tech from IT branch is less than the other branches like ECE,ME EE CIVIL.Because government organisation is mainly core based.But as you have graduation degree so you give the examination like IAS, Bank PO Exam,Lab assistant........ .............After cracking one of the examination you can get government job. |

You can join Govt software companies as software developer or even in the database companies as database list maintainer. Even in the defense section,you can join in the technical branch in there,whether it is navy or indian army.. So don't worry opportunities are there ...you have to just look for it.. All the best! |

Re: Government jobs for the students who pursued b.tech from IT branch? dear king i must inform you that there are no jobs sure for the students who have done btech (it) but the surity depends on your % and more over your performance in various examinations conducted by govt for the graduates and some are specific for engineering graduates in (it)field check more details on govt jobs website . best of luck for the entrance exams of various govt services. hope you get selected in most of them . bye take care |

UPSC : for IAS,IFS,IPS you can write bank PO exam of banks like SBI. you can opt for teaching profession also. you can join many software companies. |

Followings will be good option for you Indian airforce: IAF recruits b.tech (IT) in there logistic as well as technical branch,you should have to deal with sophisticated technologies there. Besides these you can also join indian railways,IT department of goverment of India,Airport authority of India etc. entry to all is through entrance exams followed by interview and physical fitness test. best of luck. |
