Dear Friend,

The examination for the post of IPS is conducted by the UPSC every year in the form civil service Examination.
The eligibility criteria for the civil service examination is that the candidate must be a graduate in any stream and age of the candidate should be between 21 years to 30 years.
As you are pursuing B.Tech course you will become eligible to apply for the civil service examination after completing the course.

dear friend,
Eligibility for IPS exam:-

1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade..

2.Candidate must be phisically fit.

3.Candidate must be a citizen of India.

4.Candidates age should be in between 21-30 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.

SO, engineering students can also apply for IPS exam..

I am student of engineering of IT from daiict
and want to give IPS, so is there any scope for enginners?
Any other competiteve exams for engineers beside cat ?
