GATE is best exam for engineering students.By GATE you can get chance of M.Tech from IIT colleges. M.Tech from you have to score Good marks in GATE exam. In GATE exam mostly question are asked for your B.Tech syllabus so your preparation of your syllabus should be good. For other preparation books are-

The applicant have to passed their graduate degree in engineering/technology/architecture of a recognized University or equivalent qualification and candidates who are appearing in the final year degree can also eligible to apply but pre-final year of degree course are not eligible to apply.
