The selection of the Income Tax officer is done through the Combined Graduate level examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission. The examination is conducted every year. The eligibility criteria to appear in the Combined Graduate level examination is that the candidate must be a graduate from a recognized institution and the age of the candidate must be between 21 years to 30 years. This year the examination is already over.So wait for the next year examination.The notification regarding the examination will publish in the employment news and all the leading dailies. Re: How to become an Income Tax Officer? Which Exam to appear for this? You need to attend the written examination as part of the selection criteria for the post of Income tax officer. The written examination is conducted by SSC. You need to be a minimum graduate for applying for this post. You should not be above 27 years of age. You need to attend the interview if qualifying the test. |
