hi,
No problem if you paste the colour photograph. You form will not be rejected.

By if you not mention the date and the name on the photograph then your form will be rejected.
You photo should be attested by Principal or Gazetted Officer.

GOOD LUCK!

HI,
NO, there is no problem at all.

But you have to careful while filling the application form.
You have to paste the Black and white passport size photo with your name and the date on which photograph is taken.

The photograph is attested by principal or gazetted officer.

Good luck!

Re: Will a coloured photo on AIEEE form cause any problem?

AIEEE recommends the black & white as well as coloured photograph for the students. But in some cases when the photo is not distinguished easily from the background colour i.e. The background colour is something similiar to your face & it overlaps the features of the face then in that condition that form is rejected due to the photograph.

So if your coloured photograph contains no such issue then it will be accepted otherwise you have to send a new one as a black & white photograph.

Friend one thing in the AIEEE rule is that, your photograph should be recent Black & White containing white background.

If you yet not send your application form then change the photograph.

If you already send it ,don't worry from my experience most of the cases they don't cancel the application form .wait for the admit card.

Firmly affix two recent high contrast passport size preferably black & white photograph (taken on or after 1.10.2011) with gum/fevicol (not to be pinned or stapled) in the space provided for it in the Confirmation Page one duly attested by the head of the institution where the candidate is studying/passed class XII or the Gazatted officer. The photograph must indicate clearly the name of the candidate along with the date of taking the photograph. It should be without cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed. Polaroid photos are not acceptable. The photograph of the candidate should be attested by the Principal/Head of the Institution or Gazetted Officer in such a way that part of the signature is on the photograph and remaining part of the signature is on the Confirmation Page. Attestation should be done on the bottom part of the photograph so that the photograph is not defaced. Candidates not complying with these instructions or with unclear photograph are liable to be rejected. Candidates may keep 6-8
identical photographs in reserve for use at the time of entrance
examination/Counselling/Admission

Will a coloured photo on AIEEE form cause any problem?

Hi friend,

see, firstly check your application status at ,

www.aieee.nic.in.

Most probably, If your face appears completely clearly , then there should not be any problem.

AIEEE recommends Black and white photo, but In your case if you have already sent than, don't worry. just check application status.

I am quite sure that, It will not create any problem

Best of luck

regards.

Re: Will a coloured photo on AIEEE form cause any problem?

AIEEE recommends to use a high contratst colored photograph or a black and white photograph.
The high contrast means that the background color and face color can be distinguished
easily if the photograph is converted to black and white.
If you have not sent your application then you should remove the color photograph
and use a black and white one.
If you have already sent the application then check your application status after
one week of sending date. If you find your your application rejected then you can
contact AIEEE office.
For 90% chances color photograph are ok but it may cause problem in some cases.

Even if the pasted photo is colour the confirmation page that you have sent will not be cancelled.
This has been mentioned by the AIEEE officials themselves.
For confirmation please visit
http://aieee.nic.in/aieee2012/aieee/FAQAIEEE.pdf
or refer to the attatched pdf file.
So you dont have to worry,be happy !
