NET History (Paper III) Exam - Download Previous Years Question Papers The national eligibility test is held in languages, social sciences, some core science subjects and subjects of humanities. History is also one of the subjects in which the candidates can take the exam. There are two papers of history in the exam. Paper II has all objective questions. Paper III consists of four sections, and the total marks are 200. The test has to be written in 2½ hours. The first and the second sections consists of 5 marks questions. The word limit for these sections is 30 words. The third section has questions of 12 marks, five in number, with word limit of 200 words. The last section has a single question of 40 marks, with word limit of 1200 words.
