This question paper will have objective type questions. Each question will be followed by four alternative answers.

The Question Paper for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Media Science, Environmental Science and Economics will contain 100 questions each.

The question paper in Economics will have three parts.

Part- I will contain 40 Questions which is common to both Science andnon-Science stream candidates.

Part- 2 is on Advanced Mathematics and Statistics with 60 questions.

Part- 3 is General Economics with 60 questions.

Candidates have to choose either Part2 or Part 3 for answering.

Part 1 carries 40 marks; Parts 2 & 3 each carry 60 marks.

hi,

The Question paper will have objective type questions. Each question will be followed by four alternative answers.
The Question Paper for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Media Science, Environmental Science and Economics will contain 100 questions each.
The question paper in Economics will have three parts.
Part- I will contain 40 Questions which is common to both Science and non-Science stream candidates.
Part- 2 is on Advanced Mathematics and Statistics with 60 questions.
Part- 3 is General Economics with 60 questions.
Candidates have to choose either Part 2 or Part 3 for answering.
Part 1 carries 40 marks; Parts 2 & 3 each carry 60 marks.
The performance level of candidates in Part 2 and Part 3 may differ.
Hence the marks obtained by the candidates in Part 2 & 3 will be normalized using the following formula: Normalised marks = 30 + 6 [raw marks-m (mean)/s standard deviation)]. This mark will be added to the mark obtained in Part I and total will be considered as the mark obtained by the candidate out of 100.
