Hello friend, If you have interest to gain deep knowledge in your subject then choose M.Sc and do further studies like phd and researches in the relevant field. Otherwise, MCA will ve the best option for you. MCA is totally computer application based course. Different software developement companies hire MCA students with lucrating salary packages. HI der, After B.Sc in computer science, i will suggest you just go for MCA, it is best course for you after completing your B.sc Because after completing MCA you will get a post of software engineering, but i think both the courses offer good career platforms in future. It is beneficial to you because now you have Bsc so go with same field... Don't thinking of changing your field..... |

MCA is a 3 year degree course, But M.sc CS is 2 year degree course. In M.sc CS, you have learn about theortical details of hardware & software along with Logic & algorithm. But in MCA you have learn about software based knowledge. So, basically for working purpose an M.C.A course is preffered, but for Research purpose always M.Sc. CS will be preffered. So, basically both the courses are related to networking and software field. As such there are not so much difference between in these two courses. You can opt these courses according to your interest and choice. |

But i would suggest you to go for MCA. But try to join in the good college. Then only you have more chances to be placed in good corporate company. Simply doing MCA in some unreputed college or university and if you come with just certificate in your hand, you cant gain anything out of your MCA. So, all the best. |

Since you are BCa graduate MCA is a better option for you. Also because it has be generally noticed that candidates with BCA + MCA are valued better then B.sc + MCA. Second thing is that M.sc (CT) can not provide you the things and prospect which MCA can provide. You would be worried because of present Job market. but dont take tension market is well improving, according to a media report (September-October) Indian IT industry is expected to create 4,000,00 new jobs till end of the year. So, we can Positively assume that after 3 years Market will be better. Remember one thing India is World largest or World's No. 1 IT Hub and a sector which in coming years will surely witness ups and downs, but will not be diasterous as people generally think.
