Re: From which site to get the application form for BITSAT? BITSAT Stands for Birla Institute of Technology and Science admission test and this examination and it is a Computer based online test for Admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes of BITS Pilani Campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. To apply for this examination you have to complete your 12Th examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. You should have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th class examination, at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and adequate proficiency in English. Final year appearing candidates are also apply for this examination. The Online Registration Process was already Started and If you are Interested then please fill the Online application form. Important Dates : -------------- >> Deadline to apply for BITSAT-2012 : 15th February 2012 >> Test center allotment and announcement to candidates : 25th February 2012 >> Candidates to reserve Test dates : 29th Feb. – 20th March 2012 >> Candidates to download the Hall tickets with instructions : 14th April – 30th April 2012 >> BITSAT Online test : 10th May – 9th June 2012 Application form Fees : ------------------- >> Rs 1200 for Female Candidates >> Rs 1700 for other Candidates If you are using a payment mode other than DD then the prescribed fee for BITSAT 2012 is Rs. 1600 and Rs. 1100 for female candidates. BISAT- BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE ADMISSION TEST is an entrance exam for admission to B.Tech courses of BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campus. For BITS you should have passed 12th with at least 75% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and at least 60% in individual subject,the final year appearing 12th standard can also be eligible to apply for BITS. The on line process of application to BITS has already been started which can be done by logging in to the official web site i.e. www.bitsadmission .com and the last date to apply is 15.02.2012 followed by exam on line exam from 10.05.2012 to 9.06.2012. |

Further, the candidate should have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th class examination, at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and adequate proficiency in English. However, admissions will be made only on his/her merit position based on the score obtained in BITSAT2012. Only Students who are appearing for 12th class examination in 2012 or who have passed the 12th class examination in 2011 are eligible to appear for BITSAT2012. If a candidate has taken more than one attempt in 12th class or its equivalent, only his latest performance is considered, provided this attempt has been for the full component of subjects/courses prescribed. Students who have passed 12th examination in 2010 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT-2012. Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT-2012 |
