Re: Procedure for Lateral admission in Btech? most reputed institutes of india admit the students to 2nd year through lateral entry scheme,on the basis of rank acquired by them in (CET). but there many institute offering direct addmission.as for example- 1)Hindustan group of institutions. 2)Alwar institute of engineering and technology.(rajisthan). 3)Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kashmere Gate, Delhi – 110403. 4)Amity School of Engg. & Technology 580, Delhi Palam Vihar Road, Bijwasan New Delhi – 110061 |

After clear the entrance test, you will get admission in B.tech.Entrance exam under which you can take the admission for Btech are WBUT takes JELET ;AIEEE etc.......... |

Re: Procedure for Lateral admission in Btech? dear friend every state technical universities of India,IIT,NITs they take entrance exams every year for the admission of students to 2nd year of b.tech through lateral entry. like WBUT takes JELET for this case. so u give the exam and score good results then u will be admitted to college as per ur rank. all the best. |
