Hello friend,its impossible to tell about the cut off marks before the exam results and then the merit list is declared by the authorities. Because it varies from year to year and also based on following factors. 1 It depends on no.of candidates appeared for the test 2 It varies because of the highest marks gained by the candidates. 3 It varies depending upon the paas percentage. 4 It also depends on the requirements for the various posts. THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE EXAM IS: 1)You must have done graduation or in the final year of graduation in any field from any recognixed University. 2)If you wanted to join INDIAN AIR FORCE or INDIA NAVY then you must be in the engineering or must have taken PHYSICS AND MATHEMATICS in the 12th class Level. 3)Age Eligiblity for CDS Examination : * For IMA : 19 to 24 Years * For OTA : 19 to 25 years * For Naval : 19 to 22 years * For Air Force : 19 to 23 years. 4)You must be an INDIAN CITIZEN. Re: How much score is required to clear CDS exam? answers in answer keys are not correct in all cases.....i appeared in CDS 1 2012 ...in eng around 80 ques are correct and in gk 42 ques are correct after negative marking i am getting marks btw 85 to 90 out of 200...can any one tell me what are my chances????? |

So,i planned to appear for the next exam....I am eligible for the next exam 'cdsII 2012' by just a month diffrence for Air force acadamy... Suppose if i clear next exam and qualify in all sorts,will there be any problem at the time of joining AFA because of age limit, as my eligibility is confirmed just by a monyh difference. My birth date is 05/08/1990.... |

Re: How much score is required to clear CDS exam? hy. CDS exam consists of 300 marks.You have to attempt above 60% correctly so that you can get the call for the second round. So if you have done around 180 marks and above then am sure that you will receive the call letter for the Interview. |

Quick question here, is it the cumulative score (Eng and GK) that they consider in the end or individual score of the subjects. It's not possible that you get 100 in Gk and 20 in English viz. 60% and they call you for the SSB interview right?.... or do they? Let me know, if there is an answere out there. Thanks, P |
