So my question is can a mechanical engineering student pursue mtech in pharmaceutical technology? If yes , what is the role and growth in pharmaceutical industry. |

M.Tech in phrmaceutical technology is also good but in that case,you may have to face technical topics that were not covered in the B.Pharm syllabus. After doing M.pharm,you can go in the field of professional pharmaceutical sector ans as well as in the academics sector. You can join reputed institutes after M.pharm as a lecturer and even join Govt or private drug companies as a consultant.. All the best! |

Re: M.Pharm or M.Tech in pharmaceutical technology after B.Pharm If you are firm in joining Pharma line, with industrial orientation, then go for M.Tech. only Pharma field is fast growing and demanding course nowadays, due to lot of unique health problems arising now and then. You can find opportunities in Research Institutes, Pharmaceutical Industries, also in Producation dept. of pharma company. You will be in charge of manufacturing, testing, and researching the drug. Job is quite challenging but require lot of patience and TIME. Depending upon your involvement and performance, Salary will be given. Regards |
