hiii,

You can join MBA with a specialization called MARKETING, because you get broader openings through marketing, so keep marketing as your first preference.
FINANCE and HR are also good but the opening is very small, like you may get a post for recruiting individuals, or a financial analyst as such, but, in MARKETING, you will have to achieve targets fixed by the firm and on that basis you will be paid. so, my suggestion would be MARKETING.

THANK YOU

see,as you are being the student of mechanical engineering MBA in marketing will definitely benefit to you.
other good option is to go for MBA program in NITIE university,Mumbai as it is only for engineers and it will help you to learn management of your core field i.e mechanical.
so your purpose will definitely be served.

best of luck

Re: Which specialization in MBA will be beneficial for me being a candidate of final year B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering?

Rather than going for MBA course, I suggest you to opt for good job opportunites soon after completion of your B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. If you have profound interest to pursue MBA course, you can opt for the same even after joining in job also through part time MBA course.

Apart from this, if you want to do MBA in full time basis, you can do the same.

The admission for this course will be given on the basis of performance in the entrance exams like
-CAT
-MAT
-GMAT
-SNAP
-XAT etc.

I suggest you to prepare for CAT Exam and crack the exam so that there is a more scope for you to be placed in top B-Schools and IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) for this course.

You need to secure a minimum of 50% of marks in your B.Tech in order to be eligible for CAT Exam.

For more informatin on CAT Exam, you can visit
http://www.catiim.in/

Being a candidate of B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, the best specialization for you is MBA in Operations Management. MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management will also be good for you.

Apart from this, if you are interested in other specializations like
-Finance
-Marketing
-HR etc. you can opt for the same.

Candidates with B.Tech and MBA are in good demand these days. Try to make most advantage of MBA course.
