Re: MCA or MBA (IT & Marketing), better course after BCA along with Hardware and Networking course?

Since you already have a BCA degree, you are pretty much into the IT world. Rather than going for MCA and get a specialisation, MBA can provide you a better or you can say diverse opportunity for your career.

There is a big demand for people who are MBAs and having a good technical knowledge or whereabouts of the IT industry and are at least somewhat familiar with the technological terms in the industry to be able to manage and guide the projects in a proper manner.

Specializations In MBA:

1) Marketing

2) Finance

3) Human Resource

4)Production and Operation

5)Research and Development.

As you are an Art student HR is the good choice. If you don't want to go with this specialization you have another specializations like International Business, Insurance, Marketing and IT can be the other choices.

You can also go for Finance but it is little difficult to face .My suggestion is not to go with Finance specialization .

You can go with Marketing Field. The marketing field has a good response as there are increasing in the number of new organizations from the part of global view in INDIA.

From my view HR is also a good one option for you as you are non-commerce student and there is also a good job opportunities in this Field.

Choose according to your Interest for your bright future .

All The Best...

Re: MCA or MBA (IT & Marketing), better course after BCA along with Hardware and Networking course?

Dear,
According to me -
After competing BCA you are always adviced to go for MCA rather than MBA because MBA is a totally different field than MCA or BCA but MCA is strongly related to BCA .

but all depends upon you and your interest. you can also go for MBA(IT & Marketing) as per your interest but remember you will have to face some difficulty in doing that because of your background in computer and software.
Thanks.
Good luck.

Re: MCA or MBA (IT & Marketing), better course after BCA along with Hardware and Networking course?

Hello jyoti
See you have done BCA and some hardware courses too. If you will go for MCA then you will study something more about the computer field. and if you do MBA then your field would changed and whatever you have learnt till the date would not be of any use. and there are so many good opportunities in MCA and More then MBA. Therefore I would suggest you to carry on with your field and you should go for MCA. rest depends on your area of interest.

I think so MBA will be better for you after BCA.
It will help you get good career opportunity.
Also course duration is less of MBA by 1 year than of MCA.
MBA is in very high demand too........
So you can go for MBA.
But ultimately you have to decide on the basis of your interest.
Best Wishes..........

You can do anything either MCA or MBA .Both are masters degree .If you want to be in business line then ,you should do MBA or if you want to be in technical line then, you should do MCA.Both provides various jobs with smart salaries.Boths have their own benefits.

Re: MCA or MBA (IT & Marketing), better course after BCA along with Hardware and Networking course?

Since you are pursuing a Hardware and Networking course it appears you are interested in the technical side. In such a case it would be better if you take up the MCA course. This will give more in depth training in this area. You need to select a course based on the career you would like to have. Only then will you be able have a successful and satisfied career.
