Hi Shekhar!

This is true!

Nothing can be as good as starting a career in veterinary. Because the job outlook and the earnings in this field is excellent nowadays and expecting to be the same in future also. Because of this many universities have started regular and online programs on veterinary. The only thing you should be aware of is, "what is the approx. earning of a veterinary technician". The following site may give some relevant information.

Just excelling in this field is important and success will be on the feet.

Re: Scope of veterinary science?

Veterinary science is a very broad field starting from field large animal practice to poultry, dairy, research, toxicology etc..in many institutes consider them on par with medical graduates. Contrary to the general belief, as an academic course it is much tougher than human medicine. If you love animals and rural India, It is simply best. Close your eyes and join.

Re: Scope of veterinary science?

scope of vet science..to be frank with you.if ur from village background then u can think of going into govt sector and got to village to live there and treat live stock..but if ur not thinking of joining govt job then my suggestion is vetg job will not be good as prACTICE OF PET IN CITIIES LIKE MUMBAI DELHI OR OTHER METRO ARE VERY COMPETITIVE BUT IN OTHER CIITIES ITS NOT REWARDING..SO GROUND REALITY IS THIS IT WILL NOT BE GOOD OPTION IF U RE THINKING TO DO PRIVATE PRACTICE IN VETY SCIENCE...
yA ONLY IN ACADEMICS YOU CAN GO FOR HIGHER EDUCATION AND BECOME PROFESSOR THAT IS DECENT AND GOOD ONE

Re: Scope of veterinary science?

The scope for veterinarians in the future is bright. As keeping pets is becoming a fad now, the demand for private veterinary clinics is on the rise in metropolitan cities. And similarly, there has been an unprecedented growth in the poultry sector and animal products’ technology sector, resulting in an increased demand for veterinarians in different sectors of livestock and poultry.

Re: Scope of veterinary science?

Hello friend the scope of veterinary sciencen is very good in india as we know that mbbs exams have become much tougher then before so it's difficult to crack these exams and vetrinar science i.e. science of disgnosing, trating curing birds and animal diseases is a good carrier to opt for.
