If one is ineligible in terms of age and yet writes the exam, will he be disqualified during Counselling? Is age a serious criteria? Can it not be overlooked?

you have completed your +2 level examination with the PCM back ground then your age must be grater then 16 years to appear for the EAMCET.

But if you have completed your B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FS & T) and B.Sc. (CA & BM) offered in Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural
University, candidates should have completed 17 years of age.

There are four courses in which you can take admission based on EAMCET Ranking and these courses are :
  1. B.Tech in Engineering/Bio-Technology.
  2. B.sc in Agriculture/Horticulture/Veterinary Science/Food Technology.
  3. M.B.B.S/B.D.S .
  4. BAMS/BHMS/BNYS.
Educational qualification for the above listed course :

To appear in EAMCET 2011 Engineering Entrance exams, you have to passed in your 12th classwith Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

So, if you are interested to apply for either engineering OR pharmacy courses, then your age should be atleast 16 years. But if you are interested to apply for any other courses, then you should be between 17-25 years of age.

So, after 16 year of age you are eligible to appear the EAMCET entrance examinations for engineering courses. So, if you are really interested in this exams and you are belong to Andhra Pradesh, then you are eligible to apply for this exams.

If your age exceed 25 years then you cant applicable for this examination, the requirement of it is 17 years to 25 years, it is only in Andhra pradesh.

Age : The Candidate has to complete 16 years by the time of December 31st of the Admission year.

For Medical Courses, the student have to
· take BiPC or its equivalent at 10+2 Level or Intermediate Level


Age : Should be between 17 to 22 years by the time of Admission of that particular year. 16 years is enough for BPharm Course.

age limit criteria is as follows:

As on the 31st December of the year of admission the candidate should have completed 17 yrs of age.

As on the 31st December of the year of admission the candidate should be not more than 22 years of age.

For SC/ST candidates the upper age limit is 25 years as on the 31st December of the year of admission

So you can apply for the IIT-JEE examination next year only. You are not eligible for this year.\

Eligibility criteria for EAMCET examination is as follows:

Age Details For EAMCET

Eamcet i.e Engineering Agriculture n Medical common Entrance Test (Andhra pradesh)

There is no upper age limit for writing this Exam and Minimum is 16 years of age. Being a 25 years Still Yes you can write Eamcet Exam.

If your age is more then 25 years as on 31th December 2011 then you are not eligible for EAMCET-2011 exam because the eligibility criteria for EAMCET exam : For Engineering and pharmacy courses the candidate should be at least 16 years of age and for the other courses the candidate should be between 17 to 25 years of age on 31th December 2011. EAMCET is only open for the candidate belonging to Andhra Pradesh.
