Re: Can I apply for Merchant navy if i wear spectacles? -> No, it is must that your eye sight should be good. you should be able to vision everything including minure things also. yours should be capable enough to notice everything in just a matter of seconds. Because in navy you used to be alert in every situation and in night times too there you will be able deal with guns , at that time it is dangerous for you. |

Re: Can I apply for Merchant navy if i wear spectacles? To become a Merchant navy you can get a corrected eye sight with spectacles until a limit as follows. Visual Standards: 6/36, 6/36 (correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glasses) |

Can I apply for Merchant navy if i wear spectacles? my no. -3.5D got 80% in XII non-med. i don't want to go for IGNOU b.sc is there any other option for me?? |
