Re: What syllabus to prepare for AFCAT Exam? This Examination conducted major three branches namely , Flying Branch / Technical Branch / Ground Duty Branches etc.. For Flying Branch :- The applicant should be complete bachelor degree in science stream with physics and Mathematics from recognized university . The applicant should score 60% percentage of marks in bachelor degree . The applicant age should be 19 years and 23 years . For Technical Branch :- The applicant should be complete Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor Technology with 60% percentage of marks from recognized university .The applicant age should be 18 years to 28 years . Ground Duty Branches :- The applicant should be complete bachelor degree or Master degree in science stream from recognized university . The applicant age should be 20 years to 27 years . Syllabus for AFCAT Examination :- General Awareness Consist of , History, Sports / Geography / Environment / Civics / Basic Science / Defence / Art / Culture / Current Affairs / Politics etc...... Verbal Ability in English Consist of Comprehension / Error Detection / Sentence Completion / Synonyms / Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary etc.... thnkxxx |

AFCAT SYLLABUS : (a) General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc. (b) Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary. (c) Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest.
