A commerce student also can join for GNIIT course. Under GNIIT there is specialisation for a commerce student, which is Business System and Information Management. This programme has been designed for a commerce student which helps them to compete with the IT stduents and to get into IT Industry easily. Its a 3 years of Diploma programme which 12th completed student can do along with their Graduation degree. This programme includes 2 years of training on various professional skills and technology. Once the candidate completes his or her Graduation degree and 2 years of training at NIIT they will be doing 1 year of Professional Practice working in a company. Also they will get stipend during the Professional Practice and 1 year of experience letter after the practice. One of the domains obout the IT Industry is the ITeS domain; which would lead you towards the Business Intelligence (BI) domain. Re: Can a commerce student join GNIIT? Yes, a commerce student can join GNIIT after completing the course of 12th class. The candidate should have passed the 12th class examination or any equivalent along with english as a language. |
