offcourse you are eligible to join Indian Army. The percentage of marks is not necessary to become an soldier in the INDIAN ARMY........ But you also have to pass the 10+2 level to become an soldier in Indian army. The name of the posts as a soldier in Indian Army after 10+2 are as follows........ 1. Yes,there is a entry in indian army on the basis of 10th these entries only for sainik. But they also set a criteria like height and age height should be 168cm and should be 18 to 21. |

Yes, you can join Indian Army as a soldier after passing 10th as Soldier General Duty for which you should be within age of 17.5 to 21 years of age. You can also join Indian Army as General Duties after 10th within the age group of 17.5 to 20 years of age and Specified Duties within an age group of 17.5 to 23 years of age. |

To join as general soldier you should be between 17-21 yrs. But I suggest you complete your 12th with Physics Maths and chemistry as Compulsory subject .And after that Give the NDA(National Defense Academy) Examination .If you score good then you can also join Air force. There are various ways through which you can enter the Indian Army.Since you have an aggregate of around 56% hence you can apply for the following entries :- Soldier General Duty:-You should be between the age group of 17 and 1/2- 21 Years to apply for this course. You can even apply for the following courses (i)General Duties:-You should be between the age group of 17 and 1/2- 20 Years to apply for this course. (ii)Specified Duties:-You should be between the age group of 17 and 1/2- 23 Years to apply for this course. You even have many other ways to enter the Army.I think it would be better that you complete your 12th(Intermediate) in PCM(Physics, Chemistry, Maths) and if possible graduation for better opportunities.Some of the posts which you can apply after Intermediate are.These are the courses which you can apply after completing your 12th and if your between the age group of 17 and 1/2- 23 Years 1.Soldier Technical 2.Soldier Clerk / StoreKeeper Technical You can even try out for National Defense Academy(NDA) examination to enter into IMA and become an Officer.Go through the following site for more details-Click here |
