Re: Is there any age limit to give IPS exam? To become a IPS officer,you should apply for Civil Service exam and should clear the exam with top score. Civil Service exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year once to take qualified students into different service post in government sector. To appear for Civil Service exam,you should have minimum complete graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university and your age should be between 21 to 30 years. If you fulfill with this criteria,then you can appear for this year civil service exam.Civil Service exam consist of Preliminary exam and Main Exam. Preliminary exam notification released for this year on 11th Feb 2012,closes on 5th March 2012 and exam will held on 20th May 2012. For I.P.S you have top qualify the Civil services exam.. Civil Services exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year. Age should be in between 21-30 year. For ST/SC candidate age should be in between 21-33 year. Total attempts for open category is 4.. Maximum attempts for ST/SC candidate is 7 attempts.. You can apply online or offline. IPS(Indian Police Service) is a service which comes under Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC. The number of attempt for general are 4, for SC/STs is 7 and for OBC is no limit, I hope it will help you. Best of Luck. |

There is not percentage of marks in required for IPS Examination . If your qualified in Bachelor degree then your eligible to apply for IPS Examination . Number of Attempt :- Every candidates are eligible to apply for attempt examination for 4 times and obc candidates for 7 times and there is no limit for sc/st candidates . There can apply for IPS Examination any number of time till the 35 years . Physical Standard :- You should be physically as well as mentally fit for IPS Examination . ( Example :- Eyesight / Weight / Height ) . You should not be affected by any Diseases then only your eligible to apply for the examination The Important Notification for IPS Examination are published in employment news papers and You may buy the application form from the post office in any branches . Re: Is there any age limit to give IPS exam? I think you are referring to the number of attempts permitted. If so, General candidates are permitted a maximum of four attempts only. |
