Hello friend

ISI stands for Indian Statistical Institute

There are 3 campus for ISI
1. Kolkatta
2. Delhi
3. Banglore

Courses offered in ISI are
1. Bachelor of Statistics (Honours)
2. Bachelor of Mathematics (Honours)
3. Master of Statistics
4. Master of Mathematics
5. Master of Science in Quantitative Economics (MSQE)
6. Master of Science in Library and Information Science
7. Master of Technology in Computer Science
8. Master of Technology in Quality, Reliability and Operations Research

Educational qualification :
1. All the candidates must complete 12th from a recognised board and must have read maths, physics , chemistry, biology subjects
2. For M.Tech the candidates must complete B.Tech or M.Sc
3. For M.Sc courses the candidates must complete B.Sc

Admission procedure :
1. The admission procedure for B.Sc and M.S cis through written exam, personal interview and documents verification
2. For M.Tech the admission procedure is through GATE exam

The List of courses in which you will able to take admission through ISI Entrance Exam are :-
  1. B.Stat(Hons).
  2. B.Maths(Hons).
  3. M.statistics.
  4. M.Maths.
  5. Master of science in Quantitative Economics and Library and Information science.
  6. M.Tech in computer Science.
Eligibility for Bachelor degree courses :
  • Candidates should have a minimum educational qualification of 10+2 passed out with Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
  • Candidates minimum marks should be 50%.
Eligibility for Master Degree courses :
  • Candidates should have a bachelor degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Mathematical Physics.
  • Candidates minimum marks in Graduation should be 45%.

Selection Process :
  • Written Test.
  • Group Discussion.
  • Personal Interview.
Written Test Syllabus :
  • Section I - General Awareness and English Grammar.

  • Section III - Multiple choice questions from Mathematics of Undergraduate Level(For Master Degree)./10+2 Level(For Bachelor Degree).

Age requirements for ISI - Indian Statistical Institute entrance exam

* Candidates should complete 12th from a recognized institute
* Candidates should get 55% at 12th.
* Candidates should study Maths and english as subject
* There is no age limit in ISI exam
* There is no attempts too.

ISI conducts entrance test based on

* Statistics
* Maths.
* Master of statistics
* Master of Mathematics
* Master in computer science
* Master in operations research
* Master in economics

You must pass 12 th with 50% marks having math and english as subjects. There is no any age limit for isi
