Re: After MSC in electronics, is Mtech a good choice to get good jobs? What other courses can be done? Hiiiiiiii I have completed M.Sc Electronics from Pune University and having 2 years of teaching experience in the same subject.And I like teaching very much n preparing for NET-SET exam. After marriage I shifted in Mumbai n I face d problem that mumbai University is not having Electronics as a core subject n when I applied here in different colleges,they are not offering full time job n asking to join as a visiting faculty. So my question is-How can I continue teaching profession in Mumbai? Is there any other option to grow in Electronics? Please suggest me............ |

There are many branches in electronics which you can prefer to go with like chip designing,networking,telecom industries etc. So at first choose the stream from these in what topic you get interest and according to that you can do professional courses on that particular topic. M.Tech is also very good option and for that you have to be quite hard-working to crack the GATE exam to get a seat in reputed institutes offering M.Tech. as you wish have a good day |

Dear friend as you have already done masters degree so don't go for m.tech. i will suggest you to go for PHD. don't worry for jobs first study completely then you should apply for jobs. your field should be research. after phd you will be a scientist. all the best. |

What other courses can be done? dear friend, As you are doing Msc in electronics, then it will be better for you to go for Mtech.. for that you have to appear in GATE exam.. you can do some job oriented course like on embedded system, VLSI etc.. which will help you to get a job in core company.. all the best. |

Dear Friend, If you have more interest to go for M.Tech but, it is seriously not need for your carrier,as already you had completed your Master Degree. you can go for Ph.D,there is no need of M.Tech. you are enough for getting the job. What other courses can be done? dear friend MSC in electronics is good it will provide you good job opportunity......there are no need for getting two master degree. it is only loss of time. in place of mtech you will go for Phd degree that will provide you job opportunity in teaching line in different technical colleges. after teaching experiance you may become hod of the department................... MSC in electronics will also provide technical job .MSC and Mtech will almost same degree.both degree will provide you almost same job opportunity...so After MSC you will either go for phd or mba or job that will better for you.......... best of luck........................................ |

For getting a good job and hold a good position in the job market,you must do something like job-oriented courses. There are many branches in electronics which you can prefer to go with like chip designing,networking,telecom industries etc. So at first choose the stream from these in what topic you get interest and according to that you can do professional courses on that particular topic. What other courses can be done? this is my final year in msc from calcutta university and am very much confused about what to do after that.most of the companies ask for technical degree holder students.thats why i am planning to do mtech.but again i want your suggestion about what else i can do and which is better-mtech or some other courses?again sir i want to do some professional courses while doing msc but cant figure out which would match my profile.please help me so that after doing what necessary i become a deserving candidate to get a job in core electronic companies. |
