The Indian Institutes of Technology are a group of autonomous engineering and technology-oriented institutes of higher education.Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is the entrance exam which is conducted by the IIT's on all India basis. To get admission in IIT,you need at least 95% and above. For the famous IITs i.e Delhi,Bombay its above than 98% one has to be expected.After the name appears in the cut off one has to prepare himself for an interview process. |

This is done to select candidates for the M.Tech admissions in the IIT's, NIT's and the other colleges across India. The Basic Eligibility Criteria's to be eligible to take up this exam :- 1. Only B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharma students can apply for the GATE exam. No other graduates except M.Sc degree holders are eligible to take up GATE. 2. Only final year graduation students can apply for this. Pre final year students cannot.
