Re: Details about the SSC graduate level exam? List of good study materials for preparation? S.S.C. COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL EXAM is conducted by Staff Selection Commission. This exam is conducted for recruiting the candidates to non- technical and non-gazette (both technical and non technical) posts. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:- -- The candidate must be a graduate degree holder. -- Age should be between 18-25 years. -- Age must not be less than 18 years & not more than 25 years. -- Relaxation of age is applicable in case of O.B.C , SC/ST & physically handicapped candidates. -- For O.B.C. -3 years, For SC/ST- 5 years , For physically handicapped-10 years of relaxation is available. SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR SSC GRADUATE LEVEL EXAMINATION :- IT CONSISTS OF 3 STAGES. 1)PRELIMINARY EXAM 2)MAIN EXAM 3)PERSONALITY TEST PRELIMINARY EXAM(TIRE I):- THIS EXAM CONSISTS OF 4 PAPERS WHICH ARE AS FOLLOWS. -- General Intelligence & Reasoning -- General Awareness -- Numerical Aptitude -- English Comprehension The question pattern is objective in nature. Total 200 marks means 50 marks for each paper. The examination timing is 2 hours. MAIN EXAM TIRE(II):- The test will be conducted on following topics. --Arithmetical Ability --English Language & Comprehension --Statistics Exam duration is 2 hours. All questions are objective in nature. Total 600 marks & each paper is having 200 marks. INTERVIEW TIRE (III):- Total mark is 100 marks. candidates have to pass preliminary & main exam to attain the interview. I have done B.tech and working in TCS .. i am thinking to switch to govt. sectorr now... i know all details of ssc gratuate level exams... just let me know some good study materials for preparation and i dont have much idea about pay scale break up can any one tell lum sum salary at starting thorugh this exammmmm .... |
