CAREER PROSPECTS OF COMPANY SECRETARY To be very frank first of all i would like to tell you that the use of the word secretary in the name of this specialisation is a bit misleading for those who is new to this concept A company secretary has nothing to do with regular secretarial work A company secretary is a professional whose role in a corporate set up is tha of an advisor for legal matters. Today in global scene shows a focus on development of the corporate sector Growth automatically translates into the involvement legalities of various kinds And this falls under the purview of a company secretary So the employment potential in corporate sector is very high Openeings are also available in govt sectors in bodies like bureau of public enterprise govt financial institutions and stock exchanges Other govt opeings are theaccounts branch of central govt law services the finance ,law ,accounts and merchant banking divisions of naionalised banks so these are the career oppurtunities hope will help you |
