Re: Can I write IAS exam after completing BSc in Computer Science? Yes,you can. Bsc being a graduation degree and you just need any graduation for being eligible to take IAS exam. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :- Educational Qualifications are:- The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification. Age :- 21 years to 35 years, age relaxation for reserved candidates as per Govt guide lines i.e 3 years in upper limit for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. No. of Attempts:- 4 for General , 7 for OBC and no limit for reserved categories,PH,ex service men |

Re: Can I write IAS exam after completing BSc in Computer Science? There are many options after BSC computers... you can do MCS computers... you can do MCA.... If you are no more interested in the same field and want to chcange the field then you may change the field by taking MBA after your Bsc computer.... choose as per your choice... BEST OF LUCK...... |

Dear, Yes , you can go for the IAS exam after you have completed B.Sc course as you fulfill the eligibility criteria of being a graduate. Apart from that , the age limitation is between 21-30 years for the general,, 21-33 years for the OBC , 21-35 years for the SC/ST. In case of no. of attempts , general categories get 4 , SC/ST get unlimited while the OBC get 7 attempts to clear the exam. More details:- www.upsc.gov.in. Thanks. |

Re: Can I write IAS exam after completing BSc in Computer Science? Yes. You can appear for IAS exam after the completion of your B.Sc in Computers. The minimum academic qualification with which a candidate can appear for IAS is through a graduation from a recognized university. For IAS, one need to go through a civil services examination conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). This exam is being conducted twice in a year. I would suggest you to complete your graduation first with good percentage of marks so that you will be eligible for IAS exam. By the time you complete your graduation, be strong enough in the area of General awareness, Aptitude and General English which are a part of IAS exam. The selection procedure will be by -CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) -Civil Services Main Examination -Interview |

IAS is conducted by UPSC... the criteria for appearing in IAS is - 1. you must be a bachelor degree holder 2.your age should be in between 21-30 years.. there are two steps in IAS exam- 1.preliminary exam 2.main exam and interview in the 1st stage there will be aptitude test based on general studies.. after clearing the first stage they will call you for the main exam .. all the best.. |
