Re: Stream to choose for becoming an Architect?

In order to become an architect, you should be having physics and mathematics as your main subjects in 12th and thereafter, you can go for the B.Arch exam conducted by the central board of secondary education. The exam of the B.arch is on the same day as of the aieee.

Re: Stream to choose for becoming an Architect?

Hello friend,
If you have studied maths at +2 level of education, you may pursue B.Arch.
Although most institutes accept state or national entrance exam scores, many conduct their own exams, but students needs to qualify in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), conducted by the Council of Architecture that regulates universities and colleges offering the courses.
Some of the well known institutes offering B.Arch. are
Anna University
University of Pune
University of Mumbai
Punjab Technical University
Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum

to get admission to architecture colleges or programme in India you have to appeared for

you will get good colleges like NIT.

ELIGIBILITY FOR AIEEE exam :

Stream to choose for becoming an Architect
If you want to become an good architect, you should give the exam of AIEEE architect. There are two modes of AIEEE:- BTECH and ARCHITECT.You should the architect stream of AIEEE to became an googd architect.Other information are on the website which is'www.aieee.nic.in' and click on downloads option and download the information bulletin and remember that there should be a PDF reader to open that file.
for getting admission in architecture course, you will have to take non medical in 11th class.
architecture and engineering both requires non medical stream and the forms are also same for entrance exam of both the courses.

good luck
