Karnataka Public Service Commission-General Studies (Paper I) Exam - Download Previous Year's Question Papers

General Studies is a compulsory paper unlike the other thirty subjects that is there in the optional section of the Karnataka Public Service Commission. Paper one of the paper on general Studies is a preliminary paper that one needs to qualify. Previously both the papers used to be of 300 marks and subjective but now there is only one paper with 150 objective questions and total marks of 150. Some questions which you will very often see in the KPSC General Studies papers are like elaborate concepts of the modern history of our country, special current events of the state of Karnataka, statistical analysis of day to day facts, Indian policy with related theories of the state. Other questions are from current events of the International level with huge impact on the state, cultural events etc. Books which should be followed are TMH General Studies Manual For the Civil Services Preliminary Examination, Indian Polity - Constitution of India by Bakshi etc. Below are attached some of the previous year’s question papers for your help.
