Both the streams information technology and mechanical engineering have high scopes in their corresponding fields please select the course depending on your interest and not on the basis of placements Interms of placements if you score above 70% and have good command over programming you can easily get into the software firms and in mech you can join not only into the private firms such but also can make into governement organisations through IES (Indian Engineering services). Also you can also join defence services using both the mech and it degree hence both are good in terms of placements and you can good money in both. |

Re: Which stream has better scopes either mechanical or IT with respect to placement? when it comes to choose a stream between IT and MECH ,,regarding placement , probably IT would be a better choice if you are aiming quick placement/job in that field. joining MECH sector also provides ample amount of jobs but the need of HUMAN RESOURCE in mech sector is less compared to that of IT ,,, however you can expect more salary if you join MECH , but in that case you'll have 2 fetch a job skillfully... |
