Re: Eligibiity criteria for CBI? The minimum qualification required to join the CBI(Central Bureau of Investigation) is to have a graduation degree in any stream with 50% marks. You have to crack the Civil Services Exam conducted by the UPSC, which consists of a written exam and as well as personal interview. Yeah you can join In CBI: Central Bureau of Investigation This is one of the Trusted Investigation group of India But you have to undergo a long process as you have to write CSE(Civils Examination)in the integrated services of the CSE or there is one more method that is SSC(Staff Selection Committee exam) with this exam too The Eligibility regarding age is 21-27 years To get jobs in some of the important post of bureau you should complete your graduation in criminology field your degree must be from a recognized Indian University. you can enter into CBI as Inspector but the high level jobs are by IPS officers only SSC is also not a simple exam it also consists of 4 stages you have to clear all of them Then only you will get placed in CBI department Some times the candidates with LAW background also get a chance to enter in to cbi this is all about CBI intake of Personnel The official website for the exam SSC(Staff Selection Committee)Is www.ssc.nic.in Regards ~aditya~ |

Also you should need to pass the combines graduate level examination of Staff Selection Commission as conducted by Government of India. You should need to clear its four stages. You should need to fulfill the physical requirements like height and chest etc. |

Dear, The ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA is as follows:- Educational Qualifications (Eligibility): Degree in any discipline or any equivalent qualification from Recognized University as such by the Central Government. (or) A pass with 50% marks (Pass in case of SC/ST/PC/Ex-Servicemen) in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern) /11th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate/Pre-University or any equivalent examination/Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/State Government or U.T. administration. (or) A pass with 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PC/Ex-Servicemen) in the aggregate in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/SSLC/10th std. Examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent. To join the CBI as an Sub-Inspector/Assistant Grade inspector, you need to appear for the SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam. The exam is conducted by the SSC every year. Eligibility: Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a graduate of any recognized university. Age Limits: Candidate must be between 20-27 years of age.
