Below is the chart for CA course..........



In CPT there are four papers that is ........
Accounting
Economics
Law
Mathematics.
These all are total of 200 marks & to crack this exam you have to score 50% mark.

If your aspiring to apply for CA course then you should complete 12th board Examination in any stream from recognized university then only your eligible to apply for CA course .

CA :- Charted Accountant . It is an professional course . The duration of the course is for four years and the course is divided into three levels namely , Foundation , Intermediate and Final Course .

Eligibility criteria for CA Course :-

Foundation Course :- You should complete 12th board Examination in any stream from recognized university .

Intermediate Course :- You should complete bachelor degree in any stream from recognized university . You should score minimum 50% percentage of marks in bachelor degree .

You should also qualified in CPT Examination with good percentile for marks .

CPT :- Common Proficiency Test . CPT Examination is conducted by Paper-Pencil mode Examination

If your interested to apply for CPT Examination then you should complete 12th board Examination in any discipline from recognized university . You should minimum 50% percentage of marks in 12th board Examination . Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination .

Syllabus for CPT Examination :-

-Fundamentals of Accounting
-Mercantile Law
-General Economics
-Quantitative Aptitude

To get good percentage of marks in CPT Examination then you should Prepare Mercantile Law Very well , because it was the only scoring subject . You should go through the 12th standard accounts books . So that you get good percentage of marks in CPT Examination .

Hello friend,
The best way to prepare for the Common Proficiency Test is by following the syllabus of test and by referring the study material provided by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
The syllabus for the Common Proficiency Test is as follows:

Fundamentals of Accounting ( 60 Marks )
Mercantile Laws ( 40 Marks )
General Economics ( 50 Marks )
Quantitative Aptitude ( 50 Marks )
