What type of job will I get? biotechnology field has got a great scope in india no doubt about that.. but if we start thinking about jobs in this field.. its always complicated.. we the indians have realized that studying easily in any other filed of engineering will atleast give us a job.. not like biotech where without 70 % or more marks are must.. things become difficult .. |

It is widely used in these areas of day to day life i.e., food production food storing environmental conservation and preservation development of important life saving drugs and vaccines etc., It is always creating new trends in creating new medicines for new diseases. and many more applications of this studies have been very popular all over the world Today biotechnology is the most prominent field of genetic researches and drug designing. Indian sub continent is known to house one of the worlds largest bio. What type of job will I get? hello, Bio-Technology has a very good scope in india Developing new drugs and new food processing techniques is the main part of biotechnology. considering the huge population of india and the low penetration of health facilities, and the requirement of processed food, the industry has huge potential, presently also very nice job opportunities are available in market. packages can range from 2 lakh to 6 lakh in general. Packages also depend on the college you are doing your engineering from, so if you are doing niotech from IITs or NITs then you can get packages in excess of 10 lakh as well. regards vidhi |

My friend's brother did B.Tech in Biotechnology from India and is now working USA with a salary of $6000/- per month. Biotechnology grew from professional training programmes for engineering, technology and medicines and relates to each other in finding the biological process of microbes in animals including human beings and plants. A country like who is in developing process contributes Rs.20000crore to GDP alone from this sector. The future prospects are very good in India as well in foreign countries. This sector promises to employ 5000 personnels in the next 5 years. Companies involved in research and devlopment programme related to human beings and plants. You can also enter into health and service sector. As a fresher you'll be getting a salary of Rs.12,000/- which increases as you gain experience. A master in biotechnology after graduation would bring you in the eyes of company. |
