The eligibility criteria for CDS are-
1)You should be a citizen of India.
2)You should be graduate in any discipline.
3)Your age should be between 20-25 years.
4)You should be unmarried.
5)You should be free from all types of diseases and disabilities.

Syllabus for CDS exam-
1)For IMA,Naval Academy and Air Force Academy-
a.English.
b.General Knowledge.
c.Elementary Maths.

2)For OTA-
a.English.
b.General Knowledge.

COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as CDS-I ans CDS-II for entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy of CDS.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 25 years with good Physical Health.The selection is through written exam followed by SSB Interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test

CDS stands for Combined Defence Service

ELIGIBITY for CDS:


A candidate should have completed their graduation with atleast 50% from Recognized Universities


Citizenship of INDIA.

Age limite:

For Indian Military Academy : 19-24 Years
For Air Force Academy : 19-23 Years
For Naval Academy : 19-22 Years
For Officers’ Training Academy :19-25 Years.

Introduction:
CDS i.e Combined defense service exam is conducted by UPSC every year twice.

Education qualification:
You have to be in final year of graduation or graduate passed in any discipline from recognized university.

Age limits:
Your age must be in between
For Indian Military Academy 19-24 years
For AIF it's 19-25 years
For NA i.e Naval Academy 19-23
Officer's Training Academy 19-25 years.

No if you are married you are not eligible for any entry. Only young and unmarried candidates can apply for any posts or OTA.

Married candidates are not eligible for CDS.

What's the eligible criteria for CDS?

Combined defence service examination is conducted by the UPSC twice a year. To apply for this examination a candidate should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university.
Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination.This exam is conducted for the selection of candidate as an officer in various branches of Indian Air force, Army and Navy.

Indian Military Academy 19-24 Years
Air Force Academy 19-25Years
Naval Academy 19-23 Years
Officers’ Training Academy 19-25 Years


Are married males eligible for SSB(OTA)?

No married students are not eligible for this entry. Candidate applying for this entry should be unmarried upto the time of training.
So if you are married now then you are not eligible for this examination as only unmarried candidates are eligible for this entry.
