Hello Dear,
You did not mention the specific Entrance Exam for Junior Probationary Officer of which business sector.

Hope your question is regarding the Entrance Exam for Bank PO position.

The selection procedure for Bank PO positions is by
-Written Exam
-Interview

The written exam consists of questions from the following categories
-Reasoning
-Quantitativ Aptitude
-General Awareness with special reference to Banking knowledge
-Computer knowledge or Marketing knowledge
-General English

50 Questions will be asked from each of the above mentioned categories.

Each right answer will carry you 1 mark.

Negative marking is there for the wrong answers which is 1/4th in the sense for every 4 wrong answers that a candidate attempts, 1 mark from the actual marks he scored will be deducted.

There is no fixed syllabus like your academics to prepare for Bank PO Exams.

But, I suggest you to surf previous year and model Question Papers of Bank PO Exams so that you will come to an idea of what aspects or topics to prepare in each of the above mentioned categories.

Apart from these objective questions, the candidate has to give descriptive exam also. The duration for this test is 1 hour.

The maximum for this exam is also 50 marks.

One should have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the categories of the written exam to get through the written test.

Candidaes who have qualified in the written exam will be invited for the Interview in the ratio of 1:3.

So, one should have to score high marks in the written exam to expect a call for the Interview.
