Re: Can Indian Army soldier give the CDS exam? I want to be a Officer through CDs exam but as being soldier in Indian army , what steps I have to take in my unit to give CDs exam and move on ahead of being soldier to officer |

Re: Can Indian Army soldier give the CDS exam? Actually I am serving in Indian Army And want to appear in CDS exam. I am graduated also. So if I'll appear in exam can I get any type of priority in exam based on my army service???? |

I am in graduation IInd year now, I want to appear for cds But at the same time i am planning to join army as a soldier Attendence is not compulsory in my college like many others in contry So, after joining army i ll apear only in graduation exams Will it be fine for me to join the army this year and will i be eligible for cds after doing job and graduation at the same time?? Or should i wait to complete my graduation?? Help me please |

To appear in the CDS examination one should posses their degree from a recognised university then the candidate is eligible to attend this exam your age should be 19.1/2 to 23.1/2 you must provide the concerned certificate from the Armed force to attend that exam. |

Re: Can Indian Army soldier give the CDS exam? Yes its possibvle he can guve it even he serving army till age limit and even get prefernce and relaxation in age limit. Internal process are also there to get SSB Interview and be a Officer. Thanks |

Re: Can Indian Army soldier give the CDS exam? Yes, Indian Army can give the CDS exam as the eligibility criteria for indian army is similar than that of CDS exam in many fields. |

For that you need to apply for CDS i.e Combined Defense Service Exam , need Girls/Guy with any Degree from recognized university. But you need to be in age limit.... For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy-Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.and for Indian Naval Academy you need to have a Degree in Engineering.similarly for Air Force Academy you need a Degree of Recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering. you have to be 19 half to 23 half years of age and must have passed graduation. Candidates who are studying in the final year Degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply but they will be required to submit proof of passing the degree examination to reach the Army HQ/Rtg. |
