Re: Is it possible to do Law after 12th Arts?

yes you can study law after your 12th arts, but you must have completed 17 years of age,and you can go either for a diploma course or a bachelors course.Bachelors course is more recommended. For most of the institutes you will need to appear for the entrance exam. Some of most common entrance exams which you should appear for are the CLAT, NLU, Symbiosis Law School Entrance Exam, Indian Law Institute Common Admission Test. For most of the institutes a minimum of 45% in 12th standard is sufficient as an eligibility criteria. You have the option to go in for either the LLB course the duration of which is 3 years or go in for the integrated course for which the duration is 5 years. Since you are from the commerce background you can consider doing a CS along with the LLB course. On completion of the course you will be eligible to join MNC as a Company Secretary to look into the legal matters of the company.

Re: Is it possible to do Law after 12th Arts?

Hello friend,
A bachelors degree of law can be obtained by pursuing BA LLB after qualifying +2 level of examination from a recognized board. Candidates belonging to any stream may enroll for the course but will need to qualify an entrance exam conducted jointly and individually by law universities and colleges.
For most of the entrance exam, including common law admission test-CLAT, you must have scored a minimum of 50% in the +2 level of examination. Duration of BA LLB is 5 years .
The common law admission test enables you to pursue the course from any of the 11 national law universities, which jointly conducts the test.

To know more about CLAT and universities participating in the test, refer to the official website of CLAT.
