Commerce candidate are not eligible to apply for Airforce Academy , Only Engineering and Science stream candidate are eligible to apply for Aiforce Academy . *NDA stands for National Defence Academy . This Examination is conducted by UPSC For every twice in year *If your interested to apply for NDA Examination in Airforce Academy then you should complete 12th standard in science stream with Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics from recognized university . * Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination . * You should be Unmarried Male candidate . * Your age should be 16.5 years to 19 years . * There is No relaxation is given sc/st as well as obc candidates candidates. If you really interested in Defence academy then you should apply for Army ( or ) Officer training academy . Because any stream candidate may eligible to apply for Army and Officer Training academy . Re: How to join Indian Air Force after scoring 61% in Arts? As a student from Arts stream, you are not at all eligible to apply for Indian Air Force through NDA and CDS. Only candidate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Engineering stream can apply for Indian Air Force. As you have not mentioned your educational qualification, I am giving some information regarding NDA and CDS conducted by UPSC twice a year. NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY entrance exam conducted for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The candidate must be an unmarried Indian National having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness, is eligible to apply for NDA. CDS-COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE conducted for entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy of CDS. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 25 years, is eligible to apply for CDS. So if you are interested for Defence services then as a candidate from Arts stream you can apply for Indian Army of NDA or Indian Military Academy/Indian Officer's Training Academy of CDS as the case may be as per your educational qualification. Eligibility for cds exam:- >>you should graduate in any stream from a reconized university. >>age limit is 19 to 23 years. This exam is conducated by upsc twice in a year. As you have the ARTS background in the 10+2 level, so there are no chances for you to get into Indian Air Force. You need to pass at least 12th standard with PCM subjects. After that you can join Indian Air force by giving NDA entrance exam. So I think you should go for other career options. But if you still want to join Indian Air Force, you must do 12th again having PCM as your prime subjects...... |

There is No minimum percentage of marks require for CDS Examination Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for CDS Examination . You should be Unmarried Male candidate . Your age should be 19 years to 23 years . So, Being an Arts stream candidate your not eligible to apply for Airforce academy . If you really interested in Defence academy then you should apply for Army ( or ) Officer training academy . Because any stream candidate may eligible to apply for Army and Officer Training academy . |
