Educational Qualification for State Eligibility Test -The candidate must have completed Graduation, Post Graduation and B.Ed with a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks in each -A relaxation of 5% of minimum marks will be given to SC/ST candidates -There is no age limit for appearing in the SET exam. Application procedure -The application forms are available at the head post offices of Kerala -The cost of application form is Rs.500/- But the cost of application form for Schedule caste and schedule tribe candidates is only Rs.250/- -The candidates from outside Kerala can send a demand draft of Rs. 550/- in favor of Director, LBS Center for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram. They will also have to send a self addressed envelope. Then they can receive the application form by Post - you can also fill the forms online on LBS Kerala website. The candidate will have to download the application form -After that You will have to type the application number and security key and submit the form. -Then an acknowledgement slip with the Registration ID will be displayed and you will have to take a print out of it. -After pasting the photograph you will have to sent the application form to the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Extra Police Road, Nandavanam, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram by registered post. -The form can also be handed over in person at the same address. -The community certificate of the SC/ST candidates must be sent with the application form. -Copies of certificates / mark lists must not be sent with the forms. these are required after declaration of the result. -The application forms will be accepted at the LSB headquarter only at the above mentioned address and not at the Regional units or Sub Centers of LSB. The notification for exam will soon be out in June and the last date of submission of application form will be in August. The exam will be conducted around the last week of September. |

For some subjects B.Ed is required. The list is available at the websit itself. We need to know the dates for the 2012 Kerala SET exam? |

Hello friend, If you want to apply for the State Eligibility Test, you must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:- *You must hold a masters degree. *Must have scored a minimum of 50% in the exam. *Must hold a B.Ed degree awarded by recognized university. *There is no maximum age limit to apply for the exam. If you fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above, you may appear for the exam. thanks |
