many banks which are under public sector like
State Bank of Hyderabad,
State Bank of India,
Allahabad Bank,
Bank of Baroda,
Bank of Maharastra
etc.

Hi dear,

Not more than a year ago, all banks used to conduct their entrance exams for the post of clerks individually. They used to announce their individual notification for the exam, their exam paper used to be different from one another, etc etc.



But from the last year it is seen that IBPS (Institute of Banking Personal Selection) are conducting the common written exams all over India on behalf of 19 public sector banks.

The list of the banks are here:



As you can see State Bank Of India(SBI) or SBI Associates are not included in the list. It means SBI is still continuing their own process of recruitment separately.

Now it is also announced that GRAMIN BANKS of India are also going to conduct their entrance through IBPS.

But IBPS is for Public Sector Banks only.

The private sector banks also conducts their own entrance exams for clerical post. But they have nothing to do with IBPS. You have to apply them individually whenever there will be any vacancy.

So, The gist that we get are:

1. IBPS for 19 public sector banks.
2. SBI and its Associates
3. Private Sector Banks.


You have to apply to these for clerical post.

Those candidate have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks are applicable for SBI CLERK exam.

Graduate persons are applicable for SBI CLERK exam.

Tour age should be between 18 to 28 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

BEST BOOKS FOR SBI CLERK EXAM=>

You can prepare well to all these books because this books are very helpful for you to get good score.

Also you can prepare well some Basic Computer Books also.

why the banks are asking for graduation for recruitment of clerks while they allowed 10th , 12th pass for the qualifying exam?

FRIEND,

Every bank conducts the exam for the selection of candidates for the Clerk post and PO post.

The Bank conducts this exam for the selection and There is also one exam called IBPS COMMON WRITTEN EXAM by IBPS for the selection of candidates for the posts PO and Clerk.

There is a total of 19 public sector banks which participates in the IBPS CWE Exam.


[SIZE="3"]ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR PROBATIONARY OFFICERS:[/SIZE]

1)You must be a Graduate in any field from any recognized University.
2)Your age must be between 21 to 30 years.
3)If you are in the final year of Graduation then also you are eligible for the exams.
4)You must have a basic knowledge of computers.

[SIZE="3"]ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CLERKS:[/SIZE]

1)You must be a graduate in any field from any recognized University.

OR

2)You must have passed 12th class with 50% marks.

OR

3)You must have passed 10th class with 60% marks.

4)There is no criteria of minimum marks for the SC/ST category candidates.

As you will know that Now a day IBPS conduct the commen written exam for clerk, po and other post for 19 following given below banks.

IBPS stands for Institue of Banking Personnel Selection.

To apply for clerk you should be 12th pass with 55% and 10th with 60% marks from recognised board.

your age for clerk should be 18 to 28 years for general.

Relaxation for reserve category in upper age.

Age should be 18 to 31 year for obc and 18 to 33 year for sc/st.

If you write the sbi bank clerk exam then 60% marks are required in 12th for general candidates and 55% marks for sc/st in 12th.
