Re: Can I apply for government job while in B.Tech 3rd year? you can get placed in the 3rd year itself.Also it was allowed that you may take part in the entrances like GATE, CAT, IAS, etc. There are many lot exams which you can appear in final sem of Third year. But there are some more which allows you to appear in Finale sem of Final Year. Would like to know you that for Practice to clear the Govt. Sector Wants , you must appear this year in GATE Exam.This will almost help you to understand the level and style of Govt. Sector Entrance Exams.Their score used to be valid for 2 years. |

Atleast graduation or final year students are eligible to apply for government jobs.but a third year stuident can apply for jobs which are of intermediate or diploma qualification. Just wait for one sem and u cam apply for maximum jobs . All the best venkat |

You are eligible to apply for the bank, defense service on the basis of your 12th class. If you want to apply for the graduation then first you have to complete your graduation then you can apply for the many job in government sector. |

Sector Entrance Exams. Again, it depends on your stream if you have Chemical , Instrumentation or mech. or electrical then you can try to get in BHABHA Atomic research Center, BSNL , MSEB. Moreover, if you are willing to aim for National Defence then try for NDA , or many other exams conducted by UPSC i.e Union Public Service Commision. Best Luck for Future.  Quote:

Eligibility For Government Jobs:- *Candidate pass minimum graduation in any stream *Age- 18 to 30 years 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates... So after complete your B.Tech then you apply for all Government jobs ..... JObs Like :- Railway UPSC Postal Defence DRDO etc.......... Good Luck............ |

Re: Can I apply for government job while in B.Tech 3rd year? Hi No I am really sorry to say, that you CANNOT get any job while in the 3rd year of your B.Tech. Government job is impossible to get when you are in the pre final year of your graduation. This is because, earlier when Recession was not there in India, at that time this provision was there that you can get placed in the 3rd year itself. Also it was allowed that you may take part in the entrances like GATE, CAT, IAS, etc. Their score used to be valid for 2 years. But once Recession hit India, from that time, this rule is banned. You can only apply for the jobs when you are in the final year of your B.Tech. You can only apply for the entrances only in the 4th year onwards. i.e in GATE, CAT, IAS, IPS, etc. Hope this helps All the best Regards RANJEET |
