Dear Aspirant, ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :: Firstly as per your query , you can appear in the TNPSC (Tamil Nadu PSC) in the final year of your BA English which is the must criteria. I hope you full fill the age limit also for your information : Age Limit as on 01.07.2010. Minimum Age Limit for TNPSC Group 1 Exam 2011 : 1. 21-35 for SC,ST 2. 21-30 for General Hope this was helpful. Best Luck for Future.  Quote:

The candidates should be a graduate , in any discipline , from a recognize university. The age limit is 20 - 30 yrs, There is a relaxation for Sc/St & OBC. Re: Am I eligible to take up TNPSC while pursuing B.A English? Graduation is the main qualification required for attending the TNPSC exam. You cannot apply for TNPSC exam while pursuing graduation. You have not specified clearly, you are in which year of your graduation. If you are in your final year of graduation you can apply for preliminary examination in TNPSC. But you should be able to submit the proof of documents relating to graduation while attending main exam if they get clear the prelims. You should also be between the age group of 21-30 years for attending this exam. |
