Re: Correspondence btech after diploma? Recently i am doing job so i can not do b.tech in regular class. i want to do B.tech correspondence from IGNOU ahmedabad. Is it valid in government jobs? can i do this? please suggest. |

Re: Correspondence btech after diploma? hi.. You can get admission to engineering college directly in 2nd year but for that you are needed to appear in lateral entry exam. There is no problem at all doing correspondence BTech after Diploma if your aim is AMIE. You can apply for AMIE if you prefer to study through correspondence. The AMIE degree is considered equal to BE degree and the duration of the degree is from 4 to 6. for correspondence course you can do through IGNOU |

Re: Correspondence btech after diploma? There is no no needs to worry you can continue your carrier, and you can take admission in the b.tech in the 3rd semester by the lateral entry scheme. But for this you have to give the different exam like ECET or the state engineering entrance exam then after you can take admission. |

You can even try taking admission to lateral entry to 2nd year After diploma there are relexation of four papers in all correspondence courses of B Tech. You can do IETE and AMI after completion of diploma, You can go for JNTU Hydrabad also. BEST OF LUCK. |

Re: Correspondence btech after diploma? Dear friend There is no problem at all doing correspondence BTech after Diploma if your aim is AMIE. The Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers (India). The qualification can be earned by passing Section A, Project Work and Section B examination of the Institution. If an applicant passes both sections of the examination, he or she becomes an Associate of the Institution of Engineers (AIE). The Indian Ministry of Human Resource Development considers this qualification is equivalent to a degree in engineering. AIE was earlier Grad IE (Bachelor's degree of Institituion). Apart from this institute there are some more institute which provide the correspondence course of B.Tech ,some of them are Annamalai university, Manipal university, Mumbai university etc...... There are some other BE/BTech equivalent engineering programs, AMIE and AMIETE ... which provides the computer courses ,you can also go for these programs... Best wishes thanks |

Re: Correspondence btech after diploma? dear friend, Yes, you can go for correspondence B.tech course after completion of diploma. By doing this you will also able to get a better designation in a company than a diploma holder. There some institutes in India those are provide this type course in correspondence.. To get admission in those institutes you have to appear in written test which is conducted by those institutes individually. Depending on the marks you have secured in those entrance exam you will get a chance to take admission in those institutes. The institutes those offer this type of course are- 1.Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University 2.Thapar University 3.Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University You can go for any of them. All the best. |
