Eligibility for Admission Foundation Course: (a) 17 years of age; and (b) Passed Senior Secondary Examination under 10+2 scheme of a recognized Board and Incumbents waiting for the result can apply for provisional admission. Eligibility for Admission Intermediate Course: (a) is not less than 18 years of age; and (b) has passed degree Examination of any recognised University or equivalent. Incumbents waiting for the result can apply for provisional admission. If you are a graduate then you are eligible for ICWA exam. all the best |

Re: Can I join ICWA having completed Graduation in Arts stream? Dear friend, The ICWAI examinations are held in three stages – Foundation ,Intermediate and Final. A candidate may appear for the Foundation examination after passing the plus two (twelfth standard) examinations and completing coaching either postal or oral.. The detail procedure is below:- *Higher Secondary (class 10+2) Passed Candidates *Then comes the Foundation Examination *Intermediate Course (18 months minimum) [Direct admission for graduates (any discipline)] *After passing the Intermediate Examination *Final Course (18 months minimum) *Final Examination Passed Candidates with 3 years Practical Experience *Cost Accountants (Members of the Institute) Best of luck |

Re: Can I join ICWA having completed Graduation in Arts stream? Helo Arun, There is no restriction regarding the stream to pursue course offered by ICWAI. The course is divided into three stages- Foundation Course Intermediate Course Final Course If you are a graduate, in any discipline, you are eligible to register directly for the Intermediate Course, otherwise you will have to start from the beginning, i.e. the Foundation course. Re: Can I join ICWA having completed Graduation in Arts stream? friend,for applying in icwa u should have accounts as a subject in ur +2.so if u have migrated to arts after commerce in ur graduation then u may sit for icwa since icwa needs a thorough knowledge of accounts fundamentals that cant be handled without a accounts background. |
