@biswropyogi: the date of notification u mentioned, which I have changed to blue color is not for engineering services exam. Its for Indian Economic Services. check upsc.gov.in for clarification. If you want to be so sure, pls check the 'previous year questions' section in UPSC website, where you can see question papers for Engineering services and IES separately. That IES meant to Indian Economic Services.

IES stands for Indian Engineering Services. IES entrance exam is designed for recruitment of engineers in various government services.


IES Exam Eligibility Criteria:

1) Age Limit

You age should be 21-30 years on the first day of august of the year of examination.

2) Educational Qualifications:-

The engineering graduates who have already completed or who are in last year. but last year students are required to produce the proof of passing engineering degree.
