AFTER PASSING CLASS 12 THERE ARE TWO ENTRIES TO JOIN INDIAN ARMY. 1)NDA EXAM (NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADMY) ELIGIBILITY 1.Nationality: A candidate must either be citizen of INDIA,NEPAL,BHUTAN. 2.AGE :16 1/2-19 years. 3.Those who had taken Physics & Mathematics in Class 12th can apply for navy and air force. Re: Can I join Indian Army after passing class 10th at the age of 16? you are want to join the indian army first you are appearing the nda exam.this exam is conducted by the upsc twice in a year. the eligibility criteria: 1.the candidate should be completed 12 th standard from a recognised state board of india. 2.age limit is 16.5 years to 19 years 3.only unmarried male candidates are eligible. 4.candidate should be a citizen of india. 5.candidate should be physically fit. application procedure: online. selection procedure: 1.written test 2.interview 3.medical test for more details visit www.upsc.gov.in all the best.... |

Yes, you can join Indian Army after passing 10th but in lower post other then as an officer for which you can apply for NDA entrance exam after 12th. NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good physical and mental health. The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test. For more information you may log on to http://www.upsc.gov.in |

You can join as army solider after passing 10th.. If you want to become army officer then you can apply after passing the 12th with any stream.. After passing 12th you have to qualify the N.D.A exam. N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.. Yes, Of course you can join Indian Army at the age of 16 But you will have to appear for NDA exam Dear friend, If you are interested in NDA Then please go through these criteria details below : 1.Academic qualification : The candidate should complete 12th standard examination 2.Age limitation : The age of the candidate must be within 16.5 to 19 years. 3.Nationality : The candidate must be an Indian 4.Eyesight criteria : Eyesight of the candidate must be 6/6. 5.Height criteria : The height of the candidate should be minimum 165 cm. Re: Can I join Indian Army after passing class 10th at the age of 16? To join in Indian Army you must have passed at least 12th std from a recognized board. So that you can appear in NDA exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission. For appearing in that exam you must have passed your 12th std and your age must be above 16.5years and below 19years. Thus i would suggest you to do your 12th std of any stream and appear in NDA exam to join in Indian Army. As your age is still 16 you can do 12th within 18years and you will be surely eligible for appearing in NDA exam and join Indian Army through this exam. |

If you can complete your 12th class first and then you can get the good job in Indian Army. After completion of your 12th class you must crack the NDA Examination. NDA stands for National Defense Academy.NDA Examination are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year. NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings: • Indian Army • Indian Navy • Indian Air Force Eligibility Criteria: >>> The candidate must have to pass 12th class from a recognized university. >>> And the final year of 12th class students also to apply for this NDA Examination. >>> The age limit in between 16.5 to 19 years. >>> The candidate must be unmarried male person and medically fit. >>> The candidate must be citizen of India. NO dear your can't join Indian army write now,because you are not eligible for this,i mean you don't fulfill the condition of this.one can join Indian Army if he passed out student of intermediate with science stream.
