How can i prepare myself to join in indian army or indian navy or indian air force after completion of my b.tech in ece?after completion i'll be 23 .is this a problem for me?i also want to know some name of training institute in EASTERN INDIA which can teach me in a proper way to join in defence service........................................... ...please help me................ |

Hello Amit, After completion of your B.Tech program, you may join Indian Army as commissioned officer through short service commission. The recruitment is done in the technical department and the eligible age is between 20-27 years. Apart from this, you may also write combined defense service exam conducted by union public service commission. The minimum eligible age is 19 years and the maximum age limit is 24 years. For that you have to appear in exams like- CDSE(combined defense service exam), UES(University entry scheme) etc.. Eligibility for CDS:- For Indian Military Academy:- * The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade.. * The candidates age should be in between 19-24 years.. For Navy:- *The candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field.. *The candidates age should be in between 19-22 years. For Air force:- *The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade, but must have physics and maths in 12th.. *The candidates age should be in between 19-23 years.. For UES:- Eligibility criteria:- *The candidate must have complete the bachelor degree in engineering field with 60% aggregate in graduation.. *The candidates age should be in between 18-28 years.. Dear Friend According to your academic profile you can join Indian Army through Combined Defence Services Examination which is conducted by UPSC twice a year. Age Limit: 19-24 Years. If you are 3rd year student of B.Tech. presently then you can join Indian Army through University Entry Scheme. If you are final year student of B.Tech. presently then you can join Indian Army through TGC ans SSC(Tech). Age Limit: 18-24 years (Pre final year) 19-25 years (final year).
