Re: Exams for getting railways jobs Dear friend after completing your graduation from any field you can go for the RRB exam. And after completing exam you can get a job according to your field. In RRB exam you can get these posts: TT Station Master Ticket collector Accountant Technician or etc. |

One can join indian railway through Civil Service Examination and Combined Engineering Service exam. Apart from these two examination, one can also appear for Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination. The advertisement of these examination are published in all leading newspapers including Employmnet News. The eligiblityfor each examination depends upon the nature of the job. IES exam is conducted by UPSC every year.after getting good marks you can join Indian railway as an assistant engineer. after promotions you can become GM, DRM, CHAIRMAN railway board etc. you can also join Indian railway by passing civil services exam.after getting good marks you can join Indian railway as IRTS official. good luck. |

Re: Exams for getting railways jobs FRIEND, Yes you can get into the Railway Job after the 12th class from CBSE Board and the procedure for that is explained below. So the jobs in the Indian railways are great and Railway Exams are basically conducted by Union public service commission (UPSC) and Railway Recruitment Board(RRB).The entry is done through three different channels:
There are two departments in INDIAN RAILWAYS and they are: 1)TECHNICAL DEPARTEMENT 2)NON-TECHNICAL DEPARTEMENT So the selection is done by RRB's for the 12th pass candidates and for some posts it is Graduation so you can check that on the websites of the RRB's and they are:
The age crteria for the RRB's is 18 to 30 years.Reserved category candidates will get the relaxation in age as stated by government rules. [SIZE="3"]SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:[/SIZE]
[SIZE="3"]APPLICATION FORM: [/SIZE] To apply for the RRB exam you can apply online at RRBs official website. There is no application charge for reserved categories and Ex-Servicemen and physically challenged candidates. For General categories:

Re: Exams for getting railways jobs There are various type of examination for Railways for clerical and officers job. For technical Railways job SCRA is conducted by UPSC. SCRA - SPECIAL CLASS RAILWAY APPRENTICE is an entrance exam conducted by UPSC once every year for recruitment of SCRA in Mechanical Department of Indian Railways. The eligible candidate should complete 12th standard or graduation degree with good marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics within the age of 17 to 21 years from a recognised University is eligible to apply for SCRA.
